I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and urgent need. My dad’s health, and Physical functions —COPD, almost complete vision loss from cataracts, arthritis where my dad can't hardly wall he has fell numerous times and hurt himselfhe even broke his ribs from falling down, and he had Bell’s palsy a little while back that made his eye droop down, and it also have made our lives an everyday constant challenge for both of us.
He gave me unconditional love, and support for years, and now I am his full-time caregiver. Because of his serious medical issues, he can’t get to the doctor, the pharmacy, or even the grocery store without safe, reliable transportation. I can’t work a full time job because caring for him takes all my time and energy, especially as I manage my own battles with PTSD, and depression.
I’ve set up a fundraiser called "Can You Lend A Helping Hand" because I'm asking for help to get a dependable truck or car, which will be our lifeline to medical appointments, groceries, and for essential needs. Every dollar will go directly towards gaining the transportation that could change our lives. I also need help with buying a house because my father and I been homeless off and on for the last couple months, and my depression has been hitting me hard I've been crying more because I can't do it on my own, and I never thought I would be asking the community for support, and I have always been a giver not a receiver
