The Texas workforce commission has gone to hell in a handbag. I attempted to receive assistance for mobility and orientation training several times and have been delayed for nearly 7 years so I have taken it into my own hands, and I am going to train my own seeing-eye dog. I have a rare air condition called star guards, macular degeneration, and it is progressing rapidly. I have found schools that are willing to train him. However, the price is incredibly high therefore I need assistance in finance in order to retrieve my independence. I worked since I was 12 but can no longer drive and I’m hoping with having a fully trained guide animal I can return to the workforce.
