There was devastating tornado damage Valhalla farm.
Hurricane Idalia, and a tornado took off the roof of two barns, destroyed our round pen, took down part of our indoor, including our mirrors, in indoor and outdoor ring. Trees fell over fence lines all over the farm.
Valhalla farm was established back in 1972, in Jacksonville, Florida and then moved to this location in 1982. I am so proud of my parents and what they have been able to achieve through hard work and determination. my father is a veteran, a veterinarian and has maintained this facility since it began. Including doing all of the hay, bailing, etc. on his own. My parents are now 83 and 91 which makes it very hard for them to come back from this, but I’m hoping with our help they can. Valhalla is proud to have offered the very first dressage, eventing and driving competitions in Florida.
Unfortunately, insurance will not cover these structures. We found out that FEMA will not be helping us.
Any help you can give my family, my parents, would be greatly appreciated. I can’t tell you how much it means to our family!
