Yesterday, March 16, our stove caught on fire. The amount of smoke destroyed everything in the apartment including several hundred sprayed edge special edition books, signed books by authors such as AM McCoy, HD Carlton, and KM Monrovia.
We also lost furniture, clothing, groceries, houseplants, and electronics, along with food and cat towers for our cats. None of these things are in our budget since we just moved to Seattle and had to come up with the money to move into a new apartment.
We have wonderful landlords who were able to move us into an apartment on the same property in an adjacent building, but now we are going to have to wait for the insurance to pay us to replace items which can take months.
Any help would be so appreciated.
