15th Annual Taino Awards Ceremony
Natives, family and friends,
On Saturday May 10, 2025, we will be celebrating our 15th Anniversary. As you all know, The Annual Taino Awards is not a “for-profit business”. No one gets paid. It is run by a committee of volunteers and made possible by the donations we receive. This year we are asking for your help and support for the things we have planned. Our intention is to make this ceremony a most memorable one. 15 years is a milestone and something to truly celebrate.
We have several things we are doing, and we could use your financial help to make this a big celebration.
This year our prayers have been answered, and we are having an “Art Exhibition” at Boricua College (Bronx Campus) called “Celebrating 15 years of Taino Awards” where we will showcase our Artists, Artisans, Photographers, designers and Kabuya honorees. This exhibition will take place May 8th through May 28th and of course there are costs involved with this event for closing reception.
We would like to be able to send for “Taller Bujiti) the creators and designers of this year’s awards. They are in Boriken (a.k.a. Puerto Rico). We would like to pay for their flight into NYC as well as provide a place for them to stay.
No donation is too small. Please help us reach our goal. With your support we can make this celebration remembered by all.
