Hello,
I am reaching out to the kindness of strangers because a series of sudden, overwhelming events has left my household facing an urgent financial crisis. Due to an unfortunate and highly contagious illness that is not getting better quick enough for my employer, my work hours were unexpectedly cut. This sudden drop in income couldn't have come at a worse time. And at the same time, my home was hit with a severe flea, mite and some kind of pantry pest infestation that ruined all of our food and most of my clothing and furniture. Managing this unexpected environmental crisis required too much of my energy that should've been used trying to heal, extensive cleaning protocols, replacing ruined items, and constant sanitization just to make our living space somewhat safe again. I believe the stress of it all is the reason I am not healing as I should be. And until I am healed, my work hours are going to be scarce.
Amidst all of this, my absolute priority is my dog, Bella. She is my world, but she urgently needs veterinary care that I currently cannot afford right now. I believe she has a secondary infection due to the fleas and mites. I can tell she's just not feeling well and it's breaking my heart knowing she's suffering and I'm just helpless right now to her. To make matters even more difficult, my car broke down completely, stripping away my reliable transportation and making it incredibly hard to get to work at all, handle daily logistics or find extra income.
Because of these combined expenses and my reduced hours, I flew through my savings and I am now completely unable to pay my rent. I am facing the terrifying reality of losing our home.
I pride myself on working hard, but I have hit a wall where I simply cannot dig myself out alone. I'm a very prideful woman who has a hard time asking for help. But it's a good lesson in humility for me and I really need some help right now so I'm reaching out to you all. Every single dollar donated will go directly toward securing our housing for this month and next, getting Bella her necessary vet care, and fixing my vehicle so I can get back on my feet, concentrate on getting better, and put this horrible chapter behind us for good.
