Season's Greetings!
My name is Arica Michelle! I'm the founder of Witchy Women's Market, a Facebook group I run to support other women owned, witchy businesses in the U.S.
Earlier this week, I had a veteran member privately reach out to me to express her gratitude for the positive impact my group has had on her business. After chatting back and forth (which is something her and I have frequently done for years) I learned of a recent tragedy she experienced that devastated her family. In November of this year, her partner - whom they share 5 kids together - was the victim of a hit and run car accident, he suffered multiple lacerations to the left side of his body along with a fractured skull and is currently in a medically induced coma as the hospital is still assessing the impact from his injuries while he heals. I am keeping their names anonymous at her request to preserve their privacy from the online communities they are active in.
The recent tragedy this family of 7 has endured has had a ripple of devastating consequences as they later learned, the driver was caught and was a close family friend. Her partner is currently on unpaid medical leave- with no tentative date to return to work. This leaves her to utilize her small business- which was formerly only supplemental income- to be the primary support for her family.
These are very stressful, uncertain times for this family as they grapple with grief, healing and finances. These circumstances have dimmed their holiday spirit- though she wishes for her children to regain some normalcy to light up their world- even if it's just for the holidays.
My goal is to raise 5k to bless this family with a "Merry Little Witchmas", as she frequently uses that phrase! They have also created an Amazon Wishlist that has items to gift to the family in lieu of a monetary donation. That list link is available in my public Facebook group, Witchy Women's Market. Here's a little about the family:
• Family of 7 from Florida, residing in Mississippi
• Dad is in the home remodeling/construction industry- Mom is a homemaker turned breadwinner through her witchy apothecary and jewelry business
• Together for 22 years; they share 5 children;

As a family they enjoy roller skating, camping and beachcombing!
