Hi, everyone!
My name is Brooklynn and I am an alumni of The MacDuffie School Class of 2025. I attended MacDuffie for all 7 years, 6th-12th grade.
This school has shaped me into the person I am today and I don’t know where I would be without its community. I have made life long friendships, learned so much, and have made core memories I wouldn’t have gotten at any other school.
This year, The MacDuffie School has a new head of school, and with that new leadership, it has come to light how much money MacDuffie has been losing over the years. In attempt to keep the school afloat, he has made unfortunate but necessary budget cuts.
While I am no longer at MacDuffie, I cannot in good conscience sit back and watch this happen.
Unfortunately, I’m your typical broke college student living out of state, so my ability to volunteer and donate is very limited. That is why I decided to start this Go Fund Me. I swore to myself I would never make one of these unless it was an emergency, and to me and so many members of the MacDuffie community, this is one.
This school has lasted over 100 years! and if it can survive Covid-19, it can survived anything!
Any amount helps! Even if it’s just $1, 50 cents, or a share. It means so much to me and the MacDuffie community.
