October 29, 2025 — UPDATE 
Still in CPH— transferred to a much smaller room in Extended Care. Dad is in a lot of pain, but is tougher than ever.
From the very bottom of our hearts and thank you all for your continued prayers, visits in the hospital, sweet treats, kind words, financial support, and everything else. I’m overwhelmed with the amount of love and care everybody continues to show for my dad and our family. No idea what’s next, but we DO know we will be by his side the whole time 🩷 with all of our gratitude, Mike’s kids xoxo
October 18, 2025 — UPDATE
We are still stuck here in Soldotna at CPH, waiting for a space to open up in long term care down in Homer at SPH. Jess and I have been renting a hotel room to store our things, shower, and take turns napping (not much room for us both in the hospital room) Dad is strong as an ox (as usual) and is doing the best he can. Thank you all for your prayers, love, support and financial help to ensure we can spend these very special days with our most important guy.

October 02, 2025 — UPDATE
Well yesterday was our last day of radiation. Without going into detail, we have mixed feelings about this. We are following all of our amazing doctors’ orders but most importantly doing what Dad wants, and that’s to go home.
While we don’t know what this next chapter looks like, we’re already so surrounded in love it’s overwhelming (in the best way)
But please do— send photos, memories, support, PRAYERS, anything our way. If you want me (Rheann) or my siblings’ numbers just DM me.

September 25, 2025 — UPDATE
After a few hiccups—(seizure storms, medevac to CPH, Todd’s paralysis (weakness all over after seizures) and a partially failed attempt yesterday… We were able to complete our first session of radiation
and second chemo pill today! 🥳
With everything being so second-to-second, one thing is for certain— our dad is (as he says) is “BUILT FOR THIS!” 💪
Thank you all for the continued support as we navigate each day, not knowing what the next will bring. We couldn’t be more grateful for our community near and far. Our dad is so loved and cherished 😭🤞

UPDATE 9/16/2025 — There’s no words for how grateful my family is for everybody’s help. Right now, we’re awaiting a couple the go-ahead to start chemo and radiation. He’s doing mostly good 🙌 but dealing with some dental crap that’s holding us up. His boy Spotty, his 11.5 yr old Jack Russel is also in need of dental work that we need to set money aside for. It’s overwhelming to say the least— but we got this!! 🙏

As some may know, in August of this year we got the official diagnosis that my dad (Mike Keenan) has grade 4 mass— brain cancer. ❤️🩹
My dad is not only the strongest most audacious man our family knows, but he’s audacious as ever and is just as confident as the rest of us that he can beat this. 💪
He’s been a member of this community for almost 40 years and has built numerous homes, businesses, you name it… he’s built it, skillfully and beautifully. 🔨🪜
To know my dad is to love him. Michael, Mike, Mikey, “the doctor,” Doc, and my favorite title— Dad. (Or P for short 🤣) As we begin the journey of chemo & radiation we will be traveling 5 days a week for 6 weeks, and then we shall see. (Looking into clinical trials out of state)
