Thank you for checking out my fundraiser. I am raising money to obtain and train a dog to use as my psychiatric service dog.
On 2/26/22 I was drugged, raped, and assaulted. Because of this horrific incident I am diagnosed with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and post-concussion syndrome with visual disturbance. I have panic attacks, dizziness, migraines, insomnia, nightmares, and hypervigalance.
The service dog will be trained to do several different tasks to help me. Some include: Deep pressure therapy is a calming task for panic attacks. Alerting and waking me up from a nightmare. Circling and blocking other people from me in crowds or if there is someone I don't want to come closer. Barking on command to keep someone away.
