If you don’t know me personally, Hi, I’m Liza and I’m in nursing school. As a mom of five, everything I do is for my kids and the future I’m working so hard to build for them. I worked full time at Vanderbilt for four years while going to school, juggling long shifts, homework, and being present for my children. When my school schedule became too demanding, I had to step away from full-time work and go part time at another hospital so I could stay on track academically. Now the Spring 2026 quarter is almost over, and registration for Summer 2026 opens on 2/23/26. I currently have a $1,410 balance, and I can’t register for next quarter unless it’s below $1,000. I’m trying to raise $410 to get my balance down so I can enroll and keep moving forward.
If I’m unable to register by the deadline, I’ll have to sit out an entire quarter, pushing my graduation back from September to December. That delay may not seem like much, but for my family and our stability, it means everything. I’ve come so far, and I’m asking for a miracle to help me cross this next hurdle. If you feel led to give, please know that every single dollar matters — even $1 makes a difference and brings me one step closer to staying on track. I am deeply grateful for any support, prayers, or shares. Thank you for believing in me and in the future I’m working so hard to create for my children.
***Edited to add: Shauna Beal privately donated $410 so that brought my total balance down to $999. I have updated the goal amount to reflect that. Thank you so much to those who have donated already. I owe you all big time and will repay you in some way! 🙏🏼
