A heartfelt thank you from our family

We wanted to share some good news. After several days of evacuation and uncertainty, we were able to return home. Our address has been downgraded from a mandatory evacuation zone to a blue all-clear "safe to return" zone. We are incredibly grateful to report that our home is still standing. We are home, safe, and counting our blessings.

We are overwhelmed by the generosity, prayers, messages, encouragement, and support we have received. The donations provided through this fundraiser, along with support from family and friends, have more than covered the unexpected costs we incurred during the evacuation, including temporary lodging, meals, travel expenses, emergency supplies, and replacing food lost during the power outage.

Because of your incredible kindness, our immediate needs have been met. At this time, we are asking that no additional donations be made.

Thank you for helping carry our family through a stressful and uncertain week. We will never forget the outpouring of support we received from friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and even people we have never met. Your generosity gave us peace of mind when we needed it most.
