We’re heartbroken to share that our mother has been diagnosed with Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. She’s never smoked a day in her life, and yet this devastating illness has turned her world upside down.
Our mom is one of the kindest, most dependable people you could ever meet. She’s always been the one to show up—whether you needed a ride in the middle of the night, or just someone to listen. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
The diagnosis came after weeks of persistent coughing and fatigue that wouldn’t go away. A CT scan revealed tumors in lung and lymph nodes. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of biopsies, bloodwork, and difficult conversations.
My mother is currently undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and while the doctors are fighting hard, the journey ahead is long and uncertain. I had to stop working to care for her, and the financial strain is hitting fast. From medical bills and prescription costs to rent, groceries, and transportation to treatment appointments—it’s too much for one person to handle alone.
That’s why we started this campaign. Every donation, no matter the size, helps lighten the load for us and gives my mom the chance to focus on what matters most: time with family her treatment, and holding on to hope.
If you can’t give right now, sharing this page can still make a powerful difference.
Thank you for standing with . In a world that feels so uncertain, your kindness is something we can count on.
