My Story and My Children’s Story 💔
I am a mother of five children, and all I want is to be able to live a normal life with my children again.
Some time ago, my life and my children’s lives changed forever because of a terrible accident. I was grilling when the grill suddenly exploded, and the fire engulfed me. I suffered severe third-degree burns over large parts of my body and had to spend four months in the hospital.
My children were there when the accident happened. They tried to put out the fire and save me. That day is still deeply painful for them, and ever since then, they have carried sadness and fear because they witnessed their mother being badly burned.
Unfortunately, my suffering did not end when I left the hospital. I still have severe burn scars and damaged skin on other parts of my body. I need major reconstructive surgery to remove damaged and burned skin and repair what was affected. For me, this surgery is not simply cosmetic. I want to regain as much comfort and normality as possible and move forward from the physical and emotional pain that I live with every day.
My children are also suffering emotionally because of what happened to me. Some of their friends make cruel comments and tell them things like, “Go away, your mom is burned.” Those words may seem small to the person saying them, but they deeply hurt my children, who are already carrying the trauma of seeing their mother suffer.
I am not asking for money for luxury. I am a mother trying to heal and bring happiness back into my children’s lives.
I am hoping to raise $60,000 to help cover the cost of my surgery, my children’s care, and our essential needs while I go through treatment and recovery.
Even if you cannot donate a large amount, every dollar can make a difference. A small donation, a prayer, or simply sharing my story could help us reach someone who is able to help.
My children and I are going through an extremely difficult time, but we are still holding on to hope.
