Donations are going towards memorializing John Staton with an engraved plaque at the College Park Aviation Museum. As an alumni of the University of Maryland, his colleagues' anticipation for spring break would pale in comparison to John's exuberance at even the mention of this particular landmark. This historical site married two of his great lifetime loves: air-crafts and storytelling.
This April we will be celebrating a man larger than life, who loved vastly more than could be contained within one heart. With the fulfillment of this goal, those attending this event will be greeted with his name adorned upon the entry. With this donation met, we will forever be welcomed by John into a place that spiritually nurtured the love that he so eagerly spread to the rest of us.
