UPDATE!!! Ted had his surgery, he is now home!! We still need $4500 to raise to help cover his surgery. He will have checkups at 2, 4, and 8 weeks.
I volunteer when I can for the Lewis Upshur Animal Control in Buckhannon, WV. This morning I was leaving my house to go help with an adoption event, and I accidentally ran over Ted my Olde English Bulldog which was given to me by a lady that no longer wanted him. He’s about 2 1/2 years old. He has never chased after me, he was on the porch when I left because other family members were home. I have no idea why he came after me, I had just pulled out of the driveway, did not see him at all when I hit him. We took him to Cheat Lake Animal Hospital, he has 2 broken bones in his right leg, they need to do surgery. Ted’s estimate is $6478.41-$7688.14. I do not have this kind of money but I cannot have him put down. I hate asking for help, but Ted needs it.
