Yesterday, a fire swept through my grandmother Melodie's home in Prattsburgh. They suspect it started due to outdated electrical wiring. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the damage left behind is overwhelming. Melodie, who has already raised five children of her own, is now lovingly caring for her three grandchildren. The house, filled with laughter and memories, needs significant repairs, and upgrading the electrical system is essential to prevent future dangers.
Melodie's heart is as big as ever, welcoming and warm, but financially, this challenge is daunting. Watching her manage with such grace and determination inspires me every day. I’m reaching out because repairs like these are costly, and we’re aiming to raise $6,000 to make her home safe again. Knowing that others are lending a hand would mean the world to her. Each contribution not only helps rebuild a house but supports the love and care that Melodie continues to give so selflessly.
