I’m starting this fundraiser in hopes of easing the financial burden on Doc and his family during an incredibly difficult time. They recently received the devastating news that hospitals in Alaska do not have the resources needed to treat Doc in his battle with pancreatic cancer, and they are now urgently searching for treatment options out of state.
Doc is not only facing this fight with incredible strength, but he is also a father to four sons and a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren who love him. As they navigate this unexpected and overwhelming journey, the costs of travel, medical care, and time away from home are quickly adding up.
