Dear friends and comrades,
The political and social crisis in Perú continues almost 9 months after the coup that has brought in one of the bloodiest periods in recent history. The Boluarte/Fujimori dictatorship has brutally repressed the Peruvian peoples with over 80 murdered, thousands injured, thousands arbitrarily arrested and brutality from the armed forces not seen in decades. But the peoples are steadfast. The uprising that started on December 7th, 2022 has continued to mobilize and organize throughout all regions of the country.
I was fortunate enough to meet many amazing compatriots in the struggle earlier this year and have maintained organizing bonds. I am raising funds to support various comrades continue the political education work they have engaged in since the start of the dictatorship. They need support with travel expenses, space rentals for workshops and press conferences and other needs all supporting the barrio by barrio, region by region organizing and political education they are engaged in to overthrow this brutal dictatorship.
