**OBJECTIVE**
- Prove Professor Mack wrong on Salvation (in scripture)
- It is YOUR job to PROVE him wrong
- If you accomplish this goal, you will receive the generous donation... simple!
**WHAT PROOF LOOKS LIKE**
2 Literary standard(s) of proof:
- 1. definitive proof: explicitly stated in text with terminology that qualifies but definition and word usage
- 2. Necessary Inference/Implication: stated terms in the text that can ONLY be possible through stated premise. NO other explanation can exist
**WHAT PROOF DOES NOT LOOK LIKE**
2 NON-proof standards:
- 1. strong implication(s): close but no cigar!… statement has limited conclusions to be drawn but still requires you to draw a conclusion that DOES NOT come from the text. Can give understanding but is not qualified as proof.
- 2. Loose implication/reference: statement has wide range of meanings but show no distinction to point towards your conclusion over any others
**JUDGEMENT**
- ALL judgment will be based on the above stated criteria
- 3 Objective judges will rule on the matter
- Judges are NOT to be addressed directly or malign in this forum
- Violation of this will lead to disqualification
- Issues with any particular judge may be addressed privately but may delay your spot in the queue.
- We will endeavor to provide alternative Judges (selected by existing Judges) to replace a judge ONLY if the Judge recuses him/herself
- You are NOT obligated to debate if you do not agree with the judgment criteria or the judges
