Hello,
Godric is our very special, very-loved, 10-year-old Bull Terrier.
Godric is our very special boy, and we recently discovered he has an oral tumor that was diagnosed as a Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Because of where the tumor is growing in his mouth, surgical removal is not a safe option. The best option to give his best chance at life is called fractioned radiation therapy. We have to take our boy in every day for four weeks to have the tumor zapped with radiation.
The thought of this being our last year with him is unbearable, so every penny we spend on him to keep him here and healthy is worth it.
As you can imagine, this procedure is expensive, upwards of $8500. While we were privileged enough to be able to open up a credit line to cover this, we are asking for the help of our community, friends and family to assist in paying this so we can keep ourselves out of significant debt. We know times are tough for everyone right now, so anything will help...even if we can get to half of our goal, that would help us!
Godric is a sweet boy who loves camping, paddleboarding, cuddling, going on long walks around the reservoir and of course eating. Currently, he is unable to open his mouth past a certain point to do simple things like yawn, bark or even catch a ball. We just want our baby back to as normal as possible so he can live his last years out happy and comfortable.
Thank you a million times for any help you can provide to save our sweet boy.
