Lonestar Junior Exhibition Poultry Club, a growing statewide youth organization based in Texas, dedicated to developing the next generation of poultry industry leaders.
Lonestar Junior Exhibition Poultry Club currently serves 28 youth members from across Texas, with continued growth as more families seek hands-on agricultural opportunities for their children. Our club focuses on exhibition poultry, showmanship, animal husbandry, and leadership development, helping youth build responsibility, confidence, and practical skills that directly translate to future success in agriculture and the poultry industry.
Our members range in age and experience, from beginners learning proper bird care and showmanship basics to advanced exhibitors preparing for major livestock shows and potential careers in poultry production, animal science, and related fields. Through clinics, educational meetings, and competitions, we emphasize ethics, sportsmanship, biosecurity, and a strong work ethic—values that align closely with the mission of today’s poultry industry.
