Please Help Salam and Her Family Survive
My name is Kali, and today I am asking you to stand with another family in Gaza whose situation has become life-threatening.
I want to introduce you to Salam, a mother of four who is 31 weeks pregnant with twins, and her husband Moath. Their home has been destroyed, forcing them to survive in a fragile tent that offers little protection from the relentless heat or the cold nights.
Salam is a thalassemia carrier and is suffering from severe anemia, dehydration, and malnutrition. Every day without adequate food, clean water, and medical care puts her life, the lives of her unborn twins, and her children at greater risk.
Soon, they will welcome twin babies into a tent with no clothing, diapers, blankets, or medicine waiting for them.
No mother should have to wonder if she and her babies will survive the next day. No child should have to face hunger, fear, and displacement alone.
