On behalf of the Ortiz Chinese Boxing Academy family we are asking for your help to raise funds for our Shi Fu. We need to make our Shi Fu SMILE again and we need your help! ANY AMOUNT WILL BE APPRECIATED TO HELP UP US REACH OUR GOAL!
Ever since his throat cancer diagnosis, treatments of radiation and chemo caused him to develop severe bone loss in his jaw that weakened his entire mouth and made most of his teeth fall out and now he cannot enjoy food the way he used to and is very self conscious of how he looks. We know our Shi Fu is strong but we need to see him SMILE AGAIN and we need your help!
Dental work is so expensive and to get a full mouth of implants all at once is a very costly ordeal.
For those of you who know Shi Fu Raul Ortiz know that he's a "Badass" and has tremendous knowledge and wisdom that still must be continued to be shared through his word and when speaking becomes difficult and painful this makes it hard to do.
Master Raul Ortiz is an 8th generation closed door disciple and successor of Grand Master Lee Kam Wing of Hong Kong. Master Ortiz has been training in the martial arts for the past 40 years.
He has dedicated his life to the preservation of the traditional art of Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu and to passing his knowledge and skills to all those who cross his path. He believes that if he inspires just 1% of the people he comes in contact with, then he has fulfilled his life's purpose. He has taught many people throughout the course of his career just to be able to help them even is they could not afford to pay. Shi Fu chose a more spiritual path in his life and now we want to be able to give back for all he has given to everyone around him.
