I’m 15 years old and will be running the Salt Lake City Marathon to raise money, and awareness, for the "WWII Veterans History Project".
16 Million people served in WWII, and fewer than 200,000 are still alive. We lose 300 of our veterans every day. Thus, our living recollection of this moment in history will close in less than 3 years. This is a race against time.
The Veterans History Project has interviewed 100s of veterans, filmed their stories, seeking to give their past a future.

I've been interested in history from a young age. Particularly the life and stories of veterans. I enjoy investing my free time learning about military history, collecting, researching, transcribing letters of both World Wars, and interviewing veterans.
