Help Support Emma Through This Life-Changing Journey
Many of you know Emma, and you know that she is not someone who asks for much. At just 17 years old, Emma is facing a life-changing experience, and our family is doing everything we can to make sure she has the care, support, and medical attention she needs.
We know that Medicaid waivers and other resources are available to help families in situations like ours. Unfortunately, we are currently on a waiting list and have not been approved for any assistance at this time. In the meantime, the expenses and challenges of getting Emma back and forth to hospitals, doctors’ appointments, and other necessary appointments are becoming harder to manage—especially with many of her appointments requiring travel all the way to Birmingham.
We are humbly asking for help as we navigate this journey with Emma. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean more to our family than you know. Every dollar will help with the travel, medical-related expenses, and other needs that come with making sure Emma can get the care she needs.
