We are putting together this fundraiser to rally support for my mom, Cindy.
She lives on a very tight, fixed budget where every single dollar is carefully accounted for just to cover the basics.
There is simply zero margin for unexpected emergencies, and over the past few months, she has been hit with a relentless wave of costly challenges.
First, her home’s AC unit completely went out. The unbearable summer heat made living inside dangerous and unbearable, forcing an emergency purchase of a mini-split system to make her home livable again.
On top of that, while dealing with her own medical and recovery needs, her dog, Shorty, required surgery on his ear.
When you are on a small, fixed income, emergency home cooling replacements, human medical costs, and veterinary bills hitting all at once create a crushing financial strain. These expenses hurt deeply and have completely wiped out any breathing room.

Shorty’s Veterinary Care: Paying off the surgical bills, medications, and follow-up ear care for Shorty.
Emergency Cooling & Climate Relief: Neutralizing the out-of-pocket costs to replace the failed AC system and keep her home safe in extreme heat.
Medical Expenses & Essential Living: Covering Cindy’s out-of-pocket medical bills and critical monthly living expenses so her health and household remain stable.
