Our hearts are heavy as we ask for help for our beloved pug mix, who has been dealing with a mysterious medical condition that no one has been able to explain yet.

Over a year ago, she had her first episode—circling, head bobbing, confusion—but after multiple vet visits, no clear diagnosis was found. Recently, she had another episode that was far more severe. For the past 20+ hours, she has been restless, confused, unable to settle, and displaying neurological symptoms. While seizure activity has been ruled out, the vet still has no answers without advanced diagnostics such as a CT scan and extensive bloodwork.

She doesn’t appear to be in pain—just scared and confused—and that makes this even harder. The only alternative we’ve been presented with so far is euthanasia, and I cannot accept that option without knowing for certain that it is truly the only humane choice. She deserves answers, and she deserves comfort.

I want to be transparent: I am an adult college student and a parent to a 9-year-old who loves this dog like a sibling. I fully understand the responsibility that comes with having a pet, and I would never ask for help unless I truly had no other option. Unfortunately, the cost of these tests is far beyond what I can manage on my own.

If we can raise enough to move forward with diagnostics, we can finally understand what is happening—whether it’s something treatable, manageable, or if we need to focus on making her as comfortable as possible. Right now, we’re stuck in the painful unknown.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this means just as much. And if you’ve ever been through something similar, your words, advice, or support are deeply appreciated. This is a last resort, but it comes from love, hope, and the desire to do right by a family member who cannot speak for herself.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping in any way you can. ❤️
