Hi!  I’m Katina, from Pensacola, Florida. I have started this campaign for my precious friend, Nada.

Hi everyone l will introduce my self
I’m Nada Shamallakh from north of Gaza. I am a 20 year old nursing student. We have been forcibly displaced and our home destroyed. My family and myself live in unbearable conditions. We suffer from a lack of water, food and all of the basic necessities of life.  My family consists of  8 members beginning with my medically needy grandfather. My parents along with my siblings struggle each day and we are asking for your help.

The conditions have become so dangerous that I must flee Gaza if I am going to survive and complete my nursing degree. I have dreams for my future.   My family deserves life! My grandfather deserves proper medical care and sanitary conditions. My siblings deserve to go to school and play with friends. We are not safe. This life has become unbearable and our days are only filled with suffering and hunger through no fault of ours.  Please any amount you can donate brings us one step closer to safety.

Fundraiser Updates (2)

Nada turned 21 on the first of November; her second birthday she “celebrated” since this latest nightmare began.  No cake, no candles, no gifts, no party.  Nothing actually.
However, Nada is the strongest young woman I’ve met.  She lifts our spirits and encourages US while we are spending time with her.  Not once does she not ask me how I am doing! How my family is, how my day is going!

All of this while she is enduring her darkest days.
Things have been so incredibly difficult lately. The month of October received the least amount of aid into all of Gaza in the entire year!  Severe famine is setting in in the middle area. There are many people we know who have now gone days without food. Nada is one of them.
It is also now winter in Gaza.
Nada’s family is still trying to recover from having all of their belongings stolen and are not prepared for the cold nights. They do not have the funds to be able to replace all that was stolen.
With no goods entering, the markets are bare and when they can find food or supplies the prices are astronomical.
All of this as the quadcopters, tanks, and the IOF soldiers are constantly shooting in her area. Sometimes for two or three days at a time non stop. She is surrounded by death and destruction. She needs our help to ensure she and her family survive this genocide.
PLEASE TALK ABOUT NADA!
Tell your neighbors, friends, coworkers about Nada gathering  in a tent and teaching her younger siblings and family members to ensure they are receiving some sort of education.
Tell them about Nada’s brother planting seeds to try to feed his family.
Tell them about the fashion show Nada put on with her little sister for us to show off the new flip flops they were so incredibly grateful to be able to purchase, and how Nada was hoping having her own shoes would be better with  the lesions on her feet
Tell them Nada has lost one family member per month! Sometimes two or three.  Tell them she is trying to survive life in a concentration camp under bombardment while trying to mourn her cousin and  aunt  and grandmother and grandfather and other aunt and other grandmother…
Tell them she is still reading, still studying and taking classes in her nursing school and is making stellar grades.
Tell them she is teaching Arabic lessons in an effort to have steady money coming in but she needs many more students.
Tell them Nada needs their help!
Thank you for standing with Nada 🫶🏼
