On the morning of Friday, July 4th, my dad, Miguel Rosas Gómez, was taken in by ICE on his way to work. My dad has never committed any type of crime and was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. Everyone who knows my dad knows he is the kindest guy. His only family he has left means the world to him. He is the hardest worker and has done everything in his power to make a good life. My biggest fear is that my dad will get deported to México. He doesn’t have any family over there; all of his life and family are here in Los Ángeles. We love you and we miss you, Papi ❤️

En la mañana del viernes 4 de julio, mi padre, Miguel Rosas Gómez, fue acogido por ICE de camino al trabajo. Mi padre nunca ha cometido ningún tipo de delito y simplemente estaba en el lugar equivocado en el momento equivocado. Todos los que conocen a mi padre saben que es el tipo más amable. Su única familia que le queda significa el mundo para él. Él es el más trabajador y ha hecho todo lo que estaba a su alcance para hacer una buena vida.
