I have a month left staying with my boyfriend and his family as they have let me stay here since I’m homeless. I’ve been working at my job for a month now and currently waiting on my birth certificate to come in so I can start my second job. But once I start my second job I still won’t have enough saved to get into a place for security deposit and first months rent (and sometimes last months rent depending on the place). Right now I’m making $300-$400 a pay check and with being diabetic, traveling to and from work (100+ miles a day) it’s really hard to save up to get a place. I have 2 cats that I’ve had for almost 3 years now and I desperately want to keep them but don’t want to make them live in a car with me as it’s unfair. The weather is changing, it’s getting colder at night and I also don’t want to have to sleep in my car.
