Thank you for your support! Here’s an update: Sophie came home last night and was a little wobbly. She’s been eating every 2 to 3 hours little bits and is doing much better today. She’s walking on her own now and we are just waiting to make sure she has a bowel movement and that the resection stayed intact. It may be a couple of days. We have gotten funds from some nonprofits, which I will think separately. And I will be donating to them in the future they were such a help in our time of need. If you ever have emergency vet bills before too much work gets done on your animal. Make sure you ask for any nonprofits that you can reach out to. They were very helpful in lowering the bill and paying for a good portion of it. And without the extremely generous, family and friends that we have, this would’ve been overwhelming, and could have had a devastating impact on our lives.
