Hi everyone,
Our names are Jenessa and Juan, and I’m reaching out during this very stressful and overwhelming time in both of our life’s. My boyfriend and I just graduated high school in 2025 and we are now starting the journey of college. We both work part time jobs, are full time college students, and have our own life responsibilities. In the middle of this we are encountering a very difficult situation with our dog Theodore which means the world to the both of us. Theodore just turned 1 in January. He’s still a baby, full of life, happiness, energy, love, and truly has the sweetest personality. He should be doing what he always loved like running, jumping around, and exploring but now due to him having cataracts in both his eyes he can’t see. He is going blind in both eyes. Watching him not being able to be his jolly self, bumping into things, and not being able to see us when we are talking to him absolutely breaks both of our hearts. Even with all this going on Theodore stays loving and trusting which makes this even harder. There is still hope of Theodore. Theodore can have cataract surgery this could restore his vision and give him the life he deserves. The difficult part is that the surgery is very expensive, and as two students working part time it’s not something we can afford on our own. We are doing everything in our power to get him the surgery, but we need help. If you are able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean the world to us and even more to Theodore. The vet said each eye could cost us $9,000 to $10,000 and if your unable to donate at this time, sharing this would help us out even more thank you think. We are trying to give Theodore the life he deserves and the chance to see the world, to see us, and just to live his happy life. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can give.
With love,
Theodore,Jenessa,and Juan
