I hope this message finds you well.My name is Shalini Manzanares and I am 42 years old.I am an only child for my parents.I have 2 miracles, Shaman 14, and Nathifa 10.I sort of call them my boy and girl package deal.
I was raised in beautiful Belize by my mother and had the best childhood. Although we weren't rich with money, we were rich with love, simplicity and values. I was raised as a lover, not a fighter. Upon coming to America to finish my college/university education, I was faced with a different set of ways that I wasnt use to.But I learned to get stronger and wiser, by getting hurt, used, abused and tricked.
I was still able to keep going, as I am a very strong woman.I do wear my heart on my sleave, because I believe love is the healer of all things.EVERYBODY, no matter how tough they may seem, need love.Once received, you would be surprised how they would change.
Shalini is an indian name which means sunshine, the calming, the light.I have tried to live up to that name and bring light to people and make them smile again.However, I have fallen, lost my job due to covid, been betrayed, and almost destroyed. Now I am needing to rise again so I can keep doing my job God gave me, to spread love.
I have raised my babies to do the same and be the light and spreader of love.I need to give them back their lives again, which we had.Nothing fancy, but a peaceful simplicity.
I been sleeping in a car for a while which i worked deliveries just to rent it another day.Then the car was purchased for me but with an added $2000 interest.The car has bad struts, bad power steering (electrical) , a brake fluid leak and an oil leak. All I want is a good working car, doesnt have to be fancy, but it needs bluetooth, and our own place, apartment, duplex, house , just pur own privacy where we can live OUR WAY.
Waking up Saturday mornings to good sounds of lovers reggae or waist moving soca, while I prepare a good smelling ,big breakfast for my babies.After that, everyone cleaning BUT with a happy heart, singing & dancing.OH HOW I MISS THOSE DAYS. Teaching them cleanliness is next to Godliness. Teaching them to not be lazy but work with joy in your heart. Any job you get , work with joy in your heart.
I have a Bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering from what is now Kennesaw State University in Georgia. I did work at AT&T for 9 1/2 years before resigning.I have had other corporate america jobs after but I reallized none of them fulfilled that desire to be a helper, or to be the one to uplift or make someones life inspired by care and love.
I started doing rideshare and food deliveres because I can be more on a personal level with people and touch them better.I just want to be able to get back right, so I can keep blessing and teaching my kids to do the same.
I write and sing and in one of my songs, I say, 'Don't forget YOURSELF when your giving love away.' I must admit I have put others before me and it is also one of the reasons im down flat on my face today besides losing my job.Plus STILL not getting any unemployment yet. But I keep loving humans and try to keep a happy heart and smile on my face.But I am VERY VERY tired of moving 2 steps forward and 5 steps back!
I just want to work and live again! I am happy to work, definitely not lazy and don't want to live off of anyone! People offer their homes for you to stay until you get on your feet, but they expect you to get on your feet in 2 days!! Then they change, the treatment changes, everything!! I need a positve environment, and peaceful one where I can still be ME, but still produce and not under pressure.In a positive environment, I can FLY!!!
SO, that place kinda happens in my car.No stress from anyone.But i realize it is getting very cold here in Georgia and this environment wont be able to exist soon.I just need one good PUSH forward, I am willing to pay back every cent, I just need a PUSH! And time to marinate and have things rolling again.
If I had the funds, I would definitely be on gofund me to bless someone with their struggle, because I am living it and if God or someone blessed me before, I would pay it forward.
