🐾 Help Us Help Apollo 🐾
We're reaching out today because one of our service dogs in training needs a little help.
Apollo, from Wawa's Christmas litter, is being trained to support both the mom and daughter. Mom is living with the effects of a traumatic brain injury and trauma, and his young handler struggles with anxiety, trauma, and other medical issues. Apollo has become an important part of their daily lives, providing comfort, support, and companionship when they need it most.
Unfortunately, this family has been going through a difficult time. Mom recently went on medical leave from work, and now Apollo is dealing with health concerns of his own.
A few weeks ago, Apollo was found to have crystals in his urine. Thankfully, we've been able to get those cleared up, but his kidney values are still coming back lower than they should be. The next step is additional testing to figure out what's going on and make sure he gets the treatment he needs.
We're hoping to raise funds to help cover the cost of these diagnostic tests. Any amount, no matter how small, will help bring Apollo one step closer to answers and, hopefully, back to feeling his best.
