My name is Kaitlyn, and I’m asking for help to save our family’s home in Godfrey, Illinois.
Our property taxes fell behind during an extremely difficult period for our family. We have been caring for my 3 children in this home, supporting my disabled mother, and dealing with significant financial hardships. On top of losing my dad January 2026. As a result, our 2024 property taxes were sold at a Madison County tax sale.
The tax lien was purchased by an investment company, and we now must raise approximately $2,700 to redeem the taxes and protect our home.
