Gene Yentzer (Gump)
On March 30, 2021, Gene Yentzer, 47, was sent from the Coudersport, PA, emergency department to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA after a CT scan showed a large mass on his brain. Within days of arrival, he umderwent a right-side craniotomy to remove a tumor from his brain. We soon learned the biopsy results: a very aggressive and deadly grade 4 glioblastoma multiforme. Gene had been given approximately 1 to 2 years to live. The doctors have tried multiple medications to try stopping the regrowth of the tumor however, nothing has stopped it from regrowing. Gene fought hard to stay with us, but he left us on May 31, 2022 with his family by his side. Gene has no life insurance. We are asking for help with final expenses.
