Welllllll, I'm sooooo excited to share that I have an opportunity to live out one of my dreams which is to showcase in INew York Fashion Week and I'd like to ask your help to get me there. I was selected as one of the designers to showcase in their Emerging Designer show which starts September 6-12th.
This is a huge undertaking for a small brand like mine, but a large opportunity such as this one is life-changing. Legacy building.
Those of you that know me personally know that the arts are my passion! I'm very passionate about my creativity and empowering others through my gifts. Fashion Design and the arts are childhood dreams that I'm never giving up on. It's who I am and how I help others see their full potential.
The funds will assist in paying for the showcase, transportation, food, housing, and other showcase incidentals for the week.
I'm grateful for this opportunity that has come back around for the second time!
I will not waste it or choose to let it pass me by as I have in the past. Life happened and fear took over, but not this time. You see I've been a caregiver for my family and husband,( a multiple stroke survivor) for many years. I have seen illness, death, and suicide in my parents and grandparents. I don't regret choosing family over my ambitions, but I'm anxious to grab this bull by the horn and put my best foot forward!
This journey down destiny's road is just one of many paths I was out on this earth to travel. I don't want to miss the mark, I want to do everything I was put here to do to the fullest and with excellence!!
