Gandalf the grey is a little miracle in the shape of a feline. I was attending college in Virginia when I fostered him. The bond we made was instant and ran deep, so I adopted him. He was by my side when my childhood dog passed in early 2020. He was with me while I grieved the loss of my father. He was my with me through several more traumatic life losses. He is my greatest treasure and best friend.
Gandalf suffered an internal hemmorage Thursday 11/03/2023. He has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that attacks the red blood cells as well as the platelet cells which clot blood. My boy needs multiple blood transfusions, ultrasound, xray, he's been admitted to the pet hospital for 2-3 days.
Of course I am beside myself with worry and doing everything I can to save my best friend and most loyal companion.
Any help is so very appreciated, even if it's just sharing this fundraiser with family/friends/social media.
