Update: I've received amazing support from my community with more families than expected offering to host an owl nest box on their property. Because of this, I've decided to build twice as many nest boxes as originally planned. This will allow me to place nest boxes across the entire county, from Algonac & Clay Township to Yale. Thanks for the outstanding support and for helping to make this project come to life!!

My name is Gerrit and I am a Boy Scout in China, Michigan. As my Eagle Scout project, I have partnered with Friends of the St. Clair River (https://www.scriver.org/) to build and install Barn Owl nest boxes at select locations in St. Clair County.
I am asking for your help to make my project successful. I need to raise $500 for supplies and materials for the 8 to 10 nest boxes. Scouts from my troop will help build the boxes and install them at rural sites around St. Clair County, Michigan, in January, 2024.
