Meet Alaa, a 25-year-old mother of two children, Jawan and Aboud.
Before the war, Alaa dreamed of giving her family a safe and peaceful life. Today, those dreams have been shattered. She lost her home, her sense of security, and almost everything she owned. Since then, she and her family have been displaced seven times, searching for a place where they could simply survive.
Now, Alaa, her husband, and their two children live in a small tent that offers little protection from the harsh conditions. Her husband is unemployed, and the family has no source of income. Every day is a struggle to find enough food and meet even their most basic needs.
As a mother, Alaa's greatest fear is watching her children suffer from hunger and deprivation. She wants nothing more than to protect them and give them the chance to live with dignity.
