My name is Clara, and I am asking for help during one of the most frightening and uncertain times of my life.
Recently, I have been in and out of the hospital because I have been diagnosed with Reversible Cerebral Vasoconstriction Syndrome (RCVS). I am currently experiencing a severe stage of this condition, and my doctors are still working to determine the safest and most effective treatment for me.
What makes this situation even more complicated is that I am pregnant. My medical team has to be extremely careful about what medications and treatments they use because they need to protect both my health and my unborn baby. Right now, we are trying to find a treatment that is safe for my pregnancy while also getting my condition under control.
Because of my health, I have not been able to work like I normally do. I am someone who is used to working, providing for my family, and taking care of my children. Having to suddenly stop working because of a medical condition has been incredibly stressful and has left me worried about how I will keep up with my basic expenses.
I still have rent, household bills, food, transportation, and other everyday expenses that do not stop just because I am sick. At the same time, I need to focus on getting healthy, following my doctors' instructions, and protecting my pregnancy.
I am not asking for help because I want to stay dependent on others. I am asking because I am temporarily in a situation that is completely beyond my control. My hope is to receive enough support to help me stay financially stable while my doctors figure out the right treatment and I work toward getting back on my feet.
My goal is to return to work, get back to my normal lifestyle, continue taking care of my children, and prepare for the arrival of my baby. I just need some help getting through this difficult chapter.
