Hi Everyone,

My name is Tashika Burrell. As most of you know, I was born and raised in St. Ann, Jamaica.

On October 25th, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm made landfall in Jamaica devastating countless homes, infrastructures and livelihoods. A vast majority of the country was affected including areas in St. Ann where I once resided impacting my loved ones and longtime family friends.

I am creating this gofundme page to help aid in purchasing supplies to rebuild homes. It will be a start towards a long journey to recovery.

To the outside world, Jamaica is viewed as country rich in culture, beautiful beaches, and amazing food but right now it’s a country screaming out for help. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a direct impact on families who are struggling right now.
