Hello everyone. I am a disabled trans man who has been the victim of discrimination and retaliation at my workplace for several years, most severely since 2024. I have made several complaints through the company and through government agencies, and less than two weeks after my most recent complaint, I have been fired. I am the sole provider for my household and I need to hire a lawyer and support my family and pay for expenses and medical needs while I fight for my job back. I have applied for unemployment and have begun looking for new jobs, but my disability limits my options. I am desperate to protect the life I have built and to hold the company accountable for their treatment of me and so many others who are affected by discriminatory practices.
I do not like to ask for help, but I have no resources left and am desperate. Please help me out however you can so I don’t lose my housing or access to healthcare.
