Help a Navy Veteran Recover After Surgery and a Devastating Truck Repair
A Navy veteran is facing an incredibly difficult situation and could use a little help from her community.
After recently undergoing major back surgery, she is already dealing with the physical and financial challenges that come with recovery. Her mobility is limited, and having reliable transportation is especially important right now for getting to medical appointments, picking up prescriptions, attending follow-up visits, and handling the basic necessities of everyday life.
Unfortunately, while she was dealing with these circumstances, her truck suffered a major setback.
She paid $4,000 to have someone repair her truck, trusting that the work would be done properly. Instead, the truck was returned with the engine destroyed and the vehicle no longer usable. After already spending thousands of dollars on the attempted repair, she is now faced with another enormous expense at a time when she is least able to handle it.
This isn't simply about replacing a vehicle. For someone recovering from major back surgery, being without dependable transportation can make an already difficult recovery even harder.
She served her country in the United States Navy, and now we're hoping we can come together to support her during a time when she needs it most.
What your donation will help with
Funds raised will go toward:
Repairing or replacing the damaged engine
Getting her reliable transportation again
Transportation to medical appointments and follow-up care
Other necessary expenses associated with her recovery
Any amount helps. Even a $5 or $10 donation can make a difference when many people come together.
If you aren't able to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable. Please consider passing it along to friends, family, veterans, and anyone who believes that someone who served our country deserves a helping hand when they need it.
She spent years serving and helping others. Now it's our turn to help her.
Thank you for reading, sharing, donating, and keeping her in your thoughts as she continues her recovery.
