Tabula Rasa: A ‘Clean Slate’ for all our rescued animals.
10 years ago after retiring as a college professor, I decided to start a rescue farm for unwanted, mistreated, and abused animals. All kinds of animals: dogs, cats, goats, horses, donkeys, rabbits, geese. By the time we got some of them it was almost too late to save them. But we would not give up. I fed them, had a vet to treat their abuses or ailments (to spayed and neuter all dogs and cats), gave them nice stalls and shelters and mostly gave them love. When one animal passes due to its conditions on arrival or age we replace the animal with another similar one; in other words, a neglected and abused animal who comes to us is treated royally and with love until its death. All personal savings are gone now after 10 years, so we are now asking for donations to keep saving animals. Tabula Rasa now a non-profit (501(c)(3) rescue farm who may receive tax deductible donations. You may give a one time donation or sponsor one of our many animals.
