The day I heard "cancer" from the doctors at Usaf Academy, it felt like my world stopped. To see one child fight for their life is unimaginable, but my heart breaks as both of my sweet children face this monstrous disease together. Their days should be filled with play and laughter, not the sterile confines of hospital rooms or the relentless toll of chemotherapy. Their bravery astounds me as they smile through overwhelming pain, their small acts of comfort shining like beacons in our darkest hours.
As a parent, you want nothing more than to protect your children. Yet, facing an illness so aggressive, love isn't enough. Our medical expenses—ranging from specialized treatments and medications to the costs of hospital travel—have grown into an insurmountable burden. I’m doing everything possible, but the $25,000 goal is a mountain I cannot climb alone. Each dollar raised will be a step toward easing their journey, affording them life-saving treatments and much-needed comfort during this incredible fight.
