Help Us Care for Muffin & Russel – Two Rescued Roadside Pups
On the morning of the 4th of July, we found two dogs—now lovingly named Muffin and Russel—wandering dangerously down a busy main road. Cars were swerving to avoid hitting them as they zigzagged across the lanes. I couldn’t just drive by. I pulled over, and as soon as I opened my car door, they ran straight to me and jumped in without hesitation.
I brought them home to my family of three (plus our dog, Kai), and it was love at first sight. But we knew we had to try to find their owner. We posted on every local Facebook page, contacted nearby shelters, and took them to the vet to check for microchips—but sadly, no one came forward, and they had no form of identification.
Since no one has claimed Muffin and Russel, we’ve taken on the responsibility of giving them the care they need and deserve. That includes:
• Flea baths
• Vaccinations
• A full wellness checkup
• Food, supplies, and regular dog care
We’re committed to giving them a safe and loving environment, but caring for two unexpected rescues comes with financial strain.
