My name is Mark and I am a peer support specialist at Safeside Recovery in Pueblo Colorado. We work in conjunction with the Pueblo Rescue Mission to provide safe shelter and food to some of Pueblo's most marginalized and vulnerable citizens. In addition, Safeside provides group and individual therapy to our residents and visitors to help them with homelessness, addiction recovery, and mental health issues. We also offer help with finding employment and long term housing and transportation.
I am raising money so that we can provide some group activities and daytrips for our clients. We are wanting to be able to take people to the zoo, museums, miniature golf, sightseeing, horseback riding etc... over the spring and summer, but we don't have the funds to be able to make these things happen.
