A Cry for Help: Help Alimatu Kamara Get the Medical Care She Needs ❤️🙏
Alimatu Kamara has already endured more hardship than most people face in a lifetime. She lost loved ones to illness and was forced to leave the home she once shared with her mother and young daughter. Today, she is facing another difficult battle—a serious medical condition that requires urgent medical care.
Alimatu has been diagnosed with a large mass in her abdomen that requires further medical evaluation and surgery. A treatment plan and cost estimate have been prepared for her to receive care at CARE Hospitals in Hyderabad, India, where she is expected to undergo additional testing followed by surgery.
The estimated cost of her care, travel, accommodations, and related expenses is approximately $16,500. This includes her medical evaluation and testing, surgery, airfare for Alimatu and an attendant, medical visas, accommodations, food, local transportation, and other necessary expenses.
Unfortunately, Alimatu and her family cannot afford these costs on their own. We are asking our community—and compassionate people around the world—to help us give her the opportunity to receive the treatment she needs.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward helping Alimatu reach India and receive her medical care and surgery.
